PPIC Speaker Introduction: Arkema Michael Zhu (朱立宁)
 
Dr. Michael Zhu (朱立宁) is the business supervisor of Arkema Great China polymer unit and global  photovoltaic marketing manager.
 
Michael got his doctor degree of chemical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2006, and bachelor degree of polymer science from East China University of Science and Technology in 1998. His research in US is on polymer surface morphology and polymerization reaction in ionic liquid.
 
Michael has worked for ICI coating material, Arkema technical center in Philadelphia USA and Kyoto Japan, mainly for market development and technical service. From 2006, Michael took charge of Kynar PVDF promotion used for photovoltaic backsheet, lithium battery, water treatment film, water-based fluro-carbon paint and other high-end application industry. Michael has many public articles in the world journal and conference.
 
2017 PPIC Presentation topic: Super weather resistant PV backsheet with fluoro material
Abstract:
 
Crystal silicon photovoltaic module has strict requirement on the backsheet, like vapor barrier, electric insulation. Normally PET material is selected for insulation and vapor barrier. However, the solar module will work in field environment for quite a long time, and PET material cannot last 25 years or more under hot, damp and high ultraviolet condition.
 
Super weather-resistent fluro material coating or fluro composite is commonly used for the above mentioned weather resistant and PET protection. KPK® backsheet containing KYNAR®/PET sandwich structual has excellent weather performance and has been confirmed by UV radiation, damp-heat aging and Florida field accelerating test. It also pasts sand abration test and heat resistant test, high reflectivity which is even suitable for utility scale PV plant. With over 40-year successful case in construction, micro-electronic application, Kynar® will bring durability and reliable protection for solar module.

演讲嘉宾介绍:阿科玛 朱立宁博士
 
       朱立宁(Michael Zhu)博士,1998年取得华东理工大学高分子科学学士学位,2006年获美国新泽西理工学院化学工程博士学位,现任阿科玛(ARKEMA)公司技术聚合物部门大中国区业务总监及全球光伏市场经理。他在美期间曾经从事在离子态液体(ionic liquid)中聚合反应以及聚合物表面形态的研究。他曾经先后就职于ICI涂料, ARKEMA公司美国费城技术中心和ARKEMA公司日本京都技术中心,从事市场拓展及技术服务等工作。自2006年起,朱博士负责推广KYNAR PVDF在光伏太阳能电池背板,锂离子电池,水处理膜,水性氟碳涂料等一系列高端行业内的应用及产业化,并在国内外期刊及会议上发表了数篇论文。

光伏用超耐候含氟太阳能背板 (待定)

报告摘要
       晶体硅光伏组件对背板的性能要求包括阻隔水汽、电气绝缘、优异的户外耐候性等。晶体硅光伏组件一般选用PET作为绝缘、阻水的封装背板的材料。太阳电池组件必须长期放置在户外环境中工作,然而PET在高温,高湿和高紫外情况下会降解无法保证25年以上的长期保护性能。所以,在PET背板的基础上采用超耐候含氟涂层和含氟复合薄膜成为一种普遍的耐候性解决方案。
 
       KPK®背板由阿科玛公司KYNAR®三层结构薄膜和PET复合制备、具有优异的耐候性,所有紫外老化、湿热老化和佛罗里达实际户外正面老化加速测试证明KPK®背板具有优异的耐紫外,耐沙磨蚀和耐热性,并具有较高的总太阳光反射性能,适合大型地区晶体硅光伏组件的应用。Kynar® PVDF树脂材料在建筑、微电子等工作领域40多年的成功应用历史验证了其卓越的户外耐候性、高阻隔性及其它多种优异性能,从而保证了Kynar®薄膜为太阳能组件带来长久的可靠保护。
