Fumotech Tony Gu 顾方明
 Dr. Tony Gu(Fangming Gu), born in 1972, is the general manager of Hangzhou Fumotech New Material Technology Co., Ltd, and the member of "thousand innovation leader plan" of Zhejiang province.
Tony got his bachelor and master degree of polymer science and engineering in Shanghai Jiaotong University from 1989 to 1996 and got the Ph.D in Fudan University in 1999. After that he started his Post-Doctorate study in Hiroshima University in Japan.
Tony Gu worked in the world Top 500 company like General Electric and Dow Chemical for quite a long time, took the role as technical black belt in GE, technical supervisor of water treatment department in Dow.
 Tony Gu made lots of achievements in his research fields. In Dow, he led the new type film reactor project and the composite super-filter film development, which was awarded Dow global silver prize. He has 18 public articles and 6 patents before he started his solar career.
In 2010, Tony Gu founded Fumotech which is focused on Fluro material film development. The main product PVDF was awarded top-brand product in Hangzhou and occupied nearly 1/3 market share in current global PV backsheet application market. The coating fluro material is also used for PV floating box which is used in water PV system.
In 2017, Tony Gu was invited to be the material expert for "China PV Top-runner Innovation forum".
Tony will attend 2017 PPIC and give speech on the update innovation of PVDF material used for differiented PV market.
 顾方明博士介绍：
在创业之前，顾方明博士在世界500强公司美国陶氏化学(Dow Chemical)和通用电气公司（General Electric）担任重要职位：在陶氏化学担任亚太区水处理事业部的技术总监（超滤事业部副总裁），在通用电气担任技术黑带主管。在市场的应用开发和核心技术的基础研发方面，顾方明博士都取得重要成果。其中，在陶氏化学主持开发的新型膜生物反应器成套技术和相关复合超滤膜丝技术得到公司新项目全球银奖，在通用电气公司主持开发的耐高温热收缩膜得到公司研发部的技术创新奖。这些项目给各自公司带来重大经济效益，其中复合超滤膜丝技术从中国出口到美国本部后在全球推广。
在进入企业界之前，顾方明博士在高分子物理、材料开发和加工方面具有较高学术造诣。在学科的重要国际和国内学术刊物上发表论文18篇和6篇专利，包括Macromolecules,Polymer和Macro.Chem. & Phys.等，11次出席国际学术会议并在其中一些会议上作口头报告。
 顾方明博士于上海交通大学取得高分子材料科学与工程学士、硕士学位，1999年初从复旦大学取得理学博士学位，同年留学日本广岛大学，从事博士后研究工作并在后期担任学校工学部讲师。2011年杭州市“521”计划特聘专家，2011年入选杭州市“131”计划培养人选。发表专利12篇。发表学术论文18篇，其中14篇为国外高分子专业的一流期刊。
2017年1月，顾方明应邀成为中国光伏领跑者创新论坛光伏辅材特聘专家。
